Research Interests:
Prof. Hou’ research interests development and application of new mass spectrometer and analytical methods for the real-time analysis of environmental pollutants, national security check, industrial process analysis. In the past ten years, Prof. Hou has successively presided four National Natural Science Foundation projects, 1 National Major Instrument Special Project, 1 National Major R&D Program Sub-project, 1 National "863" Resource and Environment Sub-project, 1 Chinese Academy of Sciences Instrument Development Project. In the field of analytical chemistry and environment analysis, Prof. Hou has more than 70 SCI papers, 22 granted patents, and over 30 keynote lectures at international and domestic conferences. The detail of research interests are as following:
1. Development and application of new technologies and methods for on-site detection of environmental pollutants
2. Research on new technologies and methods for detecting atmospheric free radicals and key species of nucleation
3. On line monitoring of VOCs and its secondary pollution mechanism
4. Miniaturization technology of mass spectrometry and its application in security check
